APAC-Mississippi/Tennessee recently welcomed ten college students to its summer internship program. The interns come from seven different schools where they’re pursuing degrees ranging from civil, construction and environmental engineering to industrial technology, operations management, architecture and accounting.

At an orientation event held at APAC-Mississippi/Tennessee’s main office in Richland, Mississippi, the interns were introduced to the company’s culture, mission and team, laying the foundation for a meaningful summer experience. After sharing valuable insights about their own experiences working at APAC-Mississippi/Tennessee, company leaders introduced members of the training and development team who gave the interns a preview of a summer program centered on learning, service and personal growth.

Created to support emerging talent in the construction industry, APAC’s summer intern program provides valuable, hands-on learning experiences. Each participant is paired with an APAC-Mississippi/Tennessee staff member who helps guide them during their internship. The one-on-one mentorships allow the interns to ask questions and get support as they immerse themselves in their specific fields of interest.

Supervisors for the 2025 interns include Memphis Area Manager Juan Rios, Environmental Manager Brian Moore, Aggregates Maintenance Supervisor Brian O’Callaghan, Engineering Manager James Williams, Logistics Specialist Zach Eaton, Regional Marketing Manager Emily Faschan, Regional Chief Financial Officer Kendall Gregory and Matt Smith, General Manager-East.

We are fortunate to have these experienced APAC-Mississippi/Tennessee team members guiding this ambitious group of interns. And we are excited to be a part of the interns’ journey this summer.

It is our pleasure to introduce you to APAC-Mississippi/Tennessee’s summer 2025 internship class.
